Event correlation engine applies the intelligence to data collected to correlate the various events received from the participating business applications. The engine uniquely identifies files received and links all the events together to trace the lineage and activities of the file as it moves through the enterprise across the various participating applications. It even handles events received out of sequence due to system outages or planned downtime.
Create a Client with Client Name and Client Id.While creating a Client set of mandatory fields to be filled like Client Name, Client Id, etc.
Login -> Dashboard ->Client ->Create Client. Admin can create a Client and Unique ID for that particular client and assign business Partners and groups to it. In manage client user can perform actions on Edit,view and Delete the client.To search for the client created in the Create Client module we need to fill fields to search for a particular client. Manage client has the ‘EDIT’ option where we can edit the client details. By clicking on the edit option, itself will navigate the page to create a page module where we can change details as per requirement.

To create a file name pattern -> Go to create File Name Pattern. Admin can create a File Name Pattern for that particular client. There are 3 ways to set a file name pattern.
Filename% (Starts with), %Filename% (Contains) and %Filename (Ends with).User needs to give a file name or in the way that the file is processed in the event. Setup the Success Percentage and Time to Process. For the file matching the FileName Pattern, the SLA will be based on the time to process will get the success value and failure value.

To search in Manage FileName pattern,User needs to click on the manage FileName pattern and enter the pattern name then SLA will be based on the time to process will get the success value and failure value.

A Service Level Agreement (SLA) is a commitment between a service provider and a client. It is also called a Key Performance Indicator (KPI).
Path: Login -> Dashboard -> SLAs/KPIs -> Create SLA Before creating the SLA alert, a user has to create an SLA for the client with the required processing parameters to model the condition. a) File-based SLA b) Client-based SLA. In this SLA have two formats a) Percentage b) Duration.
Client Based SLA Creation: Users can create client based or file based SLA/KPI’s based on the event status percentages. Here a user should provide either range of percentages or durations to raise alerts. Successful creation of SLA displays a success message with SLA details.
File Based SLA Creation: Users can create File based SLA/KPI’s based on the event status time periods. Here a user should provide time durations to raise alerts. Successful creation of SLA displays a success message with SLA details.
Service Level Agreement Alert can be configured by the user based on the requirement of the time ranges and percentages.

In SLA Alert, user can create SLA’s/KPI’s for required Clients or files by committing conditions against the time ranges and percentages.
With SLA alerts, Alert Name, Description, SLA/KPI Name, Condition, Expected Time, Start Date, Priority, Subject, Body and Email are mandatory fields. KPI Name needs the name of the SLA/KPI created in creating SLA/KPI previously. The SLA/KPI may be client-based or file-based. In the File Transfer process, if the file not reached to its destination, The time specified is usually set for a time where there is sufficient time to take corrective action ahead of the processing deadline. In other words, if the event state stop was not found then ‘FNR’ alert will be raised. This alert let the business team know that the file has not received for the client. In this compilation process of file case, we can check where the process event has stopped for any client.

After successful creation of FNR Alert, all the pages will be redirected to manage alerts screen with a success message and select the notification type as Dashboard, Email or both. For more Info: check Lab No:4 in Know how
Subscription Alert will be raised when a user subscribes to a particular event in the file transfer process and a file matches to a particular subscription. Here we have to subscribe to a particular event in the File transfer Process to a particular client. If a file matches that subscription event of that Particular client it will raise an alert.
Path: Login -> Dashboard -> Alert Management -> Subscription Alert
In Subscription alert, alert name, description, client name, type, priority, subject, body are the mandatory fields. Based on the condition if it matches the condition then alert will generate. Need to give alert content to get dashboard alert and email alert. After filling all the fields with data then click on create, it will display Subscription Alert is created successfully. A business unit is an organization or organizational subset that is independent about one or more accounting or operational functions. The Admin will configure the business unit and assign the groups associated with the business unit based on the access level. Create a Business Unit using Business Unit Name “CSR team” and Business Unit Id “CSR001″(Unique)
Path: Login -> Dashboard -> Configure -> Business Unit
After filling all the fields with data then click on create, displays that Business Unit has been Added Successfully. In the same screen, you can Manage the Business Unit.

In FileGPS we have 3 types of Event Structures
In One-to-One events, the structure looks like we have one start, process, and a stop event which is one-to-one, where only one source to one destination.
In one to Many events, the structure looks like we have only one start event and more than one process and stop events, like only one source and more than one destination.
In Many-to-one events, the structure looks like we have more than one start and process events but an only one-stop event, like more than one source and only one destination.

This operation enables the user to search all kinds of Transaction files that were processed like Start, process and stop.user can search the entire life cycle of the list of files and their respective status in File Search. After filling all the required fields with data and click on search, the list of records is displayed in the tabular format.

Different features available in File Life Cycle to ease the process of file tracking:In the records were displayed, to check the milestones of a particular record click on the ‘Action’ button that is available on the left side of the record.click on the ‘Action’, display the step records of the various event types such as start, process and stop.’ File Flow’ button displays the flow of the file along with file names and file type in graphical representation.
Unattended operation enables the user to search for all kinds of Transaction files that were not processed. After filling all the required fields with data and click on search, the list of records is displayed in the tabular format.
Path: Login ->Dashboard ->File Life Cycle -> Unattended, The files contain only ‘PROCESS’ and ‘STOP’ events it bypassed the ‘START’ stage. After providing all the fields, click on search to display all the related records. For more Info: check Lab No:6 in Know how
File load alert is raised whenever a file is processed from one node to other file load alert will raise with success status if the file is transmitted in the prescribed time. Else File load alert is raised with a failure status. In either of the cases, file load alert notifies the user on the file transmission.

FileGPS Reports are the InfoGraphics that depict the statistics of the data that was processed between the hubs.Reports provide diversified options to view the file statistics like Dashboard, Dynamic, Reports viewer.

Dashboard Reports: The dashboard shows the Transaction details of each application. It is also called an Application Transaction Report. Transaction details classified into today, current week, month, quarter, year on based on file arrival time zone. In order to view the particular transactions at a specific node, select the checkboxes in the application dropdown button and click ‘RETRIEVE’ button it will display the application statistics.
Dynamic Reports: This Dynamic report can be called as Report designer where we can generate our own reports/Info Graphs based on our requirement. In this report, there are Database tables it shows the database table list. By clicking on it, it will display the column
names of that particular table. We can Generate, save and Reset a Report. Clicking on the reset button will reset the entire page.
Reports Viewer: This Report viewer shows all reports and my reports designed in dynamic reports module on the breadcrumb. By default, it will show All Reports. By clicking on the report, it will show the popup with that particular report All reports have the edit option where we can edit of the generated report. By clicking on the edit option. My reports have the edit /delete option where we can edit and delete the generated report.
Path Analysis Shows the connection of node paths based on time range.
Time Range: By default, it shows the current quarter, for the required report with specific criteria and selects the date range.
Path Analysis: By default, all paths are added for the report and by clicking on the path analysis names it will remove the paths to the graph and click on Generate Reports it will display the path analysis.
User can personalize the child grid with desired fields that they want to view in the child grid of File Life cycle. Path: Login -> Dashboard -> Configure -> Child Grid.User can select or deselect the fields in the child grid config section. After selecting all desired fields in this Child grid config section. By Clicking on the ‘Update’ button, after making the required changes, the application will update the child grid.
User can personalize the child grid with desired fields that they want to view in the child grid of File Life cycle.
Path: Login -> Dashboard -> Configure -> Child Grid.User can select or deselect the fields in the child grid config section. After selecting all desired fields in this Child grid config section. By Clicking on the ‘Update’ button, after making the required changes, the application will update the child grid.
Go to the link: https://hostname:7080/ and the hostname represents IP address click on the Manager App it will ask for Sign In, Enter the username as tomcat and password as the password. It will display the list of all applications in that path column click on FileGPS App, Then the FileGPS Application will start.
In List of Applications, we have a commands column in that there are different actions like Start, Stop, Reload, and Undeploy. Click on Stop it will stop the application and the same way to Reload and Undeploy.
To login into FileGPS Application.There are few input elements should be filled that are present in the Login screen like Username, Password, Show Password, and Access Mode which indicates a different type of user roles. Then, click on Sign In it will display the FIleGPS Application UI.
