Client

This module of the FileGPS application provides the user to perform various operations on a client.

These are various operations :

  • Create a Client 
  • Manage Client 
  • Create a File Name Pattern 
  • Manage File Name Pattern 

Create Client:

This is the page in which the client profile is created in the FileGPS application.

Path: 

Login   >   Dashboard   >   Client    >    Create Client 

In this screen, admin can create a Client and Unique ID for that particular client and assign business Partners and groups to it. 

For example, In this scenario, ACME Client details are provided in the ‘Create Client’ as shown in Figure 1.

In this screen, admin can create a Client and Unique ID for that particular client and assign Business Partners.

Property  Description  Format / Rules/ E.g. 
Client Name: *  Name of a Client, which is generated either by admin/Admin based on the specifications   e.g. – name-hhss@12345 
Client ID: Unique Identity of client e.g. – name-uyw@12345 
Primary Route  Collection of Node ID’s to form a Path/route from a stage to another stage   
Primary File Type  Mention the Format of the file /file extension would be the type   e.g. –  .doc,.docx,.txt 
Secondary Route  Collection of NodeID’s to form a Path/route from a second level stage to another level of stage    
Secondary File Type  Mention the Format of the file /file extension would be the type   
SuccessPercentage: *
 This field accepts the client required  success percentage  
Time to Process: *  This field defines the processing window objective within which the file must be processed  
Assign Business Unit (ALL)  Allocating business units to Client   

 

Assign Business Unit (Group)  Allocating business Groups to Client   
Create (button)  Used to Create a new Client with required data   
Cancel(button)  Used to empty the values of inputs/Clear the existing values/reload the page to build a new search   

Those which are marked as “* are required/mandatory fields. 

After entering all the details of the client, click on create button it will create a client as shown in Figure 2. 

ACME Client is now successfully created.

Property  Description 
Client Name   Name given while creating a Client 
Client ID  Unique Identity Code is given to the Client 
Time to Process  Time is taken to process the request it may be in minutes, hours 
Success Percentage  The percentage assigned to the client 
Search   To search the list of created client records 
Reset Search  Clears the values in fields  

Manage Client :

In Manage Client, User can search for the clients based on the filters that were provided at the time of client creation. 

Path: 

Login   >    Dashboard   >     Client    >     Manage Client 

User have edit/delete/View Activity options to perform on client. 

All the actions such as edit/delete/View Activity could be performed when the user clicks on the particular record as shown in figure 3.

Property  Description 
Client Name   Name given while creating the Client 
Client ID  Unique Identification alphanumeric code 
Time to Process  Time is taken from one Node to another node 
Success Percentage  Configurable Success ratio as a standard 
Search  Search for the result grid based on given criteria 
Reset Search  Clear the input field values to make a new search 
Update  Saves the values and updates the records 
Cancel  Clears all the filled inputs such that user can have searched for new records 


Manage client has the 
‘EDIT’ option where we can edit the client details. By clicking on the edit option, itself will navigate the page to create a page module where we can change details as per requirement.

‘Update’ button, after making the required changes, the application will update the client details as shown in figure 5.

 ‘View Activity’ will have the record of all the actions performed by the users as shown in figure 6.

Client record could be permanently deleted with ‘DELETE’ option as shown in below figure 7.

 Create File Pattern: 

This is the page in which the File Patterns can be created for a particular client.

Path: 

Login   >    Dashboard    >    File Name Pattern    >     Create File Name Pattern  

In this screen, admin can create a File Name Pattern for that particular client. 

There are 3 ways to set a file name pattern 

  •     Filename% (Starts with)  
  •     %Filename% (Contains) 
  •     %Filename (Ends with) 

 For exampleIn this scenario, %ACME FilePattern details are provided in the ‘Create File Name Pattern’ as shown in Figure 8.

The Required Success Percentage for file   
Time to Process: *  Time is taken to process of files with the request it may be in minutes, hours From one Node ID to its successor Node ID   

 

Those which are marked as “*” are required/mandatory fields. 

 

After entering all the details of File Name Pattern, click on create button it will create File Pattern successfully as shown in Figure 9.  

%ACME File pattern is now successfully created.

 Manage File Name Pattern: 

In Manage Client, User can search for the clients based on the filters that were provided at the time of client creation. 

Path: 

Login   >    Dashboard   >     File Name Pattern     >    Manage File Name Pattern
