How To Create File Load Alert

Task: Creating a File Load Alert of Client and File Based with Success and Failure condition

Sub-task 1: Creating a File Based File Load Alert with Alert name ‘%ACME% File Based File Load Failure Alert’ with Failure condition

Sub-task 2: Creating a Client Based File Load Alert with Alert name ACME Client File Load Success Alertwith success condition

Path: 

Login -> Dashboard -> Alert Management -> FLA Alert

a) When to create a FLA Alert:
Whenever the client subscribe for a particular file or client, whether it may receive or not based on the condition alert should generate.

b) How to create FLA Alert:
With a FLA alert, Alert Name, Description, Client Name, Filename, Condition, Priority, Subject, Body and Email are the mandatory fields. If it matches the condition then alert will generate. Need to give alert content to get dashboard alert and email alert.
For file based FLA need to select file name what we created in the create file pattern. Similarly for client based FLA need to select client name what created in the create client

Sub-task 1: Creating a File Based File Load Alert with Alert name ‘%ACME% File Based File Load Failure Alert’ with Failure condition

Procedure to Follow: In create File Load Alert screen enter the below fields

  1. Enter Alert Name(%ACME% File Based File Load Failure Alert).
  2. Enter Description.
  3. Select Configuration(file Based).
  4. Select File Name
  5. Select Condition.
  6. Select Priority
  7. Enter Subject and Body.
  8. Click on Email  Button to provide Email-ID for which Alert notification need to be sent to.

Note: All the mentioned fields are Mandatory(*).
After filing all the fields with data and click on Create as referred below.

File Based FLA has been created as referred below.

Sub-task 2: Creating a Client Based File Load Alert with Alert name ACME Client File Load Success Alertwith success condition

Procedure to Follow: In create File Load Alert screen enter the below fields

  1. Enter Alert Name(ACME Client File Load Success Alert).
  2. Enter Description.
  3. Select Configuration(Client Based).
  4. Select Client Name
  5. Select Condition.
  6. Select Priority
  7. Enter Subject and Body.
  8. Click on Email button to provide Email-ID for which Alert notification need to be sent to.

Note: All the mentioned fields are Mandatory(*).
After filing all the fields with data and click on Create as referred below.

Client Based FLA has been created  as referred below.

 In the above created ACME Client File Load Success Alert where the ACME Client load the files with in time to process then alert notification is raised as shown below in filegps dashboard
